What Is Cycle Alchemy?

October 14, 2026•11 min read

The missing link between your body, your life, and your becoming

What if your body isn’t something you need to fix before you can finally live your life? There are so many of us that feel like healing is a destination and we can enjoy our lives when we “get there.”

What if your symptoms aren’t random interruptions? It is so common to feel like our body is betraying us when symptoms arise because it interrupts our “regularly scheduled programming.”

I want to challenge this common way of thinking.

What if your emotions, your patterns, your cycles, your relationships, your desires, and the way you move through the world are all part of a much bigger conversation?

This is the question at the heart of Cycle AlchemyTM.

Cycle Alchemy isn’t another wellness modality.

It isn’t life coaching with a feminine twist.

It isn’t spiritual coaching with a body-based vocabulary.

It isn’t Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It isn’t sound healing.

It definitely isn’t another system for giving women a list of things to do when their hormones go sideways.

Cycle Alchemy is the framework that connects the dots.

It is a way of understanding the relationship between biology, psychology, energetics, spirituality, and lived experience so that women can stop treating themselves like a collection of disconnected problems and start experiencing themselves as whole.

That shift? It changes everything.

So… what exactly IS Cycle Alchemy?

At its simplest:

Cycle Alchemy is the practice of using the body as a doorway to deeper self-trust, embodied sovereignty, and transformation.

  • Your cycle is part of that.

  • Your symptoms are part of that.

  • Your emotions are part of that.

  • Your nervous system is part of that.

  • Your beliefs are part of that.

  • Your energetic patterns are part of that.

  • Your spiritual life is part of that.

None of them exist in isolation.

Cycle Alchemy looks at the relationship between them.

The truth is you aren’t a hormone problem. You aren’t a trauma response. You aren’t a mindset problem. You aren’t a spiritual crisis. You aren’t a diagnosis.

You are a whole human being having a physical, emotional, psychological, energetic, and spiritual experience.

Cycle Alchemy gives you a language for exploring the whole damn thing.

Why “cycle”?

Cycles are everywhere.

  • Menstrual cycles.

  • Hormonal cycles.

  • Life cycles.

  • Seasons.

  • Relationships.

  • Identity.

  • Creativity.

  • Birth.

  • Death.

Beginning. Ending. Expansion. Contraction.

Your body is constantly moving through cycles.

Modern culture teaches us to live as though we should be linear.

Same energy, productivity, mood, output and capacity every day.

Same version of ourselves as if our hormones function like a man - the same and steady day in and day out.

What do we do when our bodies don’t cooperate with this model?

We assume something has gone wrong.

Cycle Alchemy asks:

What if the cycle itself contains information?

Instead of fighting the rhythm, we learn to read it. Instead of overriding the body, we learn to work with it. Instead of seeing change as failure, we learn to recognize transformation.

Why “alchemy”?

Alchemy is transformation - not becoming someone else.

It is becoming more fully yourself.

In Cycle Alchemy, discomfort becomes information.

Information becomes awareness.

Awareness creates choice.

Choice creates alignment.

And alignment creates transformation.

This isn’t about turning every symptom into a mystical message. It isn’t about pretending disease doesn’t exist. It isn’t about blaming women for their health conditions.

It’s about asking a bigger question:

What becomes possible when you stop separating your physical experience from the rest of your life?

How Cycle Alchemy is different from life coaching

Life coaching often focuses on where you’re going.

  • Goals.

  • Decisions.

  • Habits.

  • Relationships.

  • Career.

  • Money.

  • Purpose.

Cycle Alchemy asks another question:

Who is the woman making those decisions—and is she actually in relationship with herself?

You can create a five-year plan while completely disconnected from your body. So many of us do (I used to be guilty of this - I see you.)

You can achieve every goal on your vision board while ignoring exhaustion.

You can build the business, get the promotion, make the money and raise the kids. You can do all the things - and still feel like something is missing.

Cycle Alchemy doesn’t replace goal-setting.

It goes underneath it.

We ask:

What does your body know?

What are your patterns telling you?

What do you actually desire?

What beliefs are driving your choices?

What happens when your ambition and your biology are no longer at war?

That is a different conversation.

How Cycle Alchemy is different from spiritual coaching

Spiritual coaching can help you explore purpose, intuition, consciousness, beliefs, manifestation, connection, and meaning and those conversations matter.

Spirituality without embodiment, however, can become another place to escape the body.

Cycle Alchemy brings spirituality down into the body.

Not just:

What is your soul calling you toward?

But:

Can your body actually feel safe enough to move toward it?

Not just:

What are you manifesting?

But:

What patterns are you unconsciously participating in?

Not just:

What is your higher purpose?

But:

What happens when your actual human body has to live that purpose?

Enlightenment doesn’t exempt you from having hormones, digestion, grief, boundaries, a nervous system, or a menstrual cycle.

Your spirituality has to be able to live in your body.

That’s embodiment.

How Cycle Alchemy is different from Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is a complete medical system with its own diagnostic frameworks, theories, and treatment methods.

Cycle Alchemy isn’t trying to replace it.

In fact, TCM is one of the bodies of wisdom that deeply informs Cycle Alchemy.

Concepts such as Yin and Yang, Qi, the Five Elements, meridians, and patterns of imbalance can offer incredibly rich ways of understanding the body.

Cycle Alchemy asks a question that extends beyond the modality however:

How does this information change the way you relate to yourself?

A TCM practitioner may identify a particular pattern and create an appropriate treatment strategy.

Cycle Alchemy takes that information and asks:

  • What can you learn from the pattern?

  • How does it show up in your life?

  • Where are you overriding yourself?

  • What patterns keep repeating?

  • What beliefs are underneath your behavior?

  • What would alignment look like?

TCM can be one of the tools and a powerful one - but not the only one.

Cycle Alchemy is the framework for integrating the information.

How Cycle Alchemy is different from sound healing

Sound can be profoundly regulating, experiential, and transformative.

Sound healing is a modality.

You experience sound and receive vibration. You may experience relaxation, emotional release, altered states, or simply a beautiful moment of stillness. This is what many people seek out sound healing to accomplish.

My work takes this a step further.

Cycle Alchemy asks:

  • What happens after the sound bath?

  • What did you notice?

  • What shifted?

  • What surfaced?

  • What are you ready to understand?

  • What pattern are you now able to see?

  • How do you bring that awareness into your life?

Sound can and will open the door.

Cycle Alchemy explores what happens when you walk through it.

Cycle Alchemy is different from other holistic modalities

There are so many different modalities available for people to choose from to support their healing journeys and they all bring beautiful tools to the table. Many of these I offer in my own practice.

  • Herbalism.

  • Somatic practices.

  • Breathwork.

  • Meditation.

  • Energy work.

  • Nutrition.

  • Yoga.

  • Pelvic health.

  • Psychotherapy.

  • Coaching.

  • Sound.

This is not an exhaustive list - but you get the idea. None of these are inherently “the answer.” None of them have to be dismissed.

They can all become tools in the alchemist’s toolkit.

The question isn’t:

“Which modality is the right one?”

The better question is:

“What does this woman need at this moment in her journey?”

Sometimes that’s medical care. Sometimes it’s acupuncture or Acutonics. It might be therapy and other times it’s rest. Sometimes it’s a boundary. It could be a nutritional intervention. It could be the occasional sound journey. It could be a conversation that completely changes the way she sees herself.

Sometimes - it’s all of the above.

That’s why Cycle Alchemy isn’t about collecting modalities.

It’s about learning how to work with the whole woman.

The Five Pillars of Cycle Alchemy

This is where the framework becomes practical. Here is the progression of the cycle alchemy journey that I walk along side my clients through.

1. OBSERVE

Your body is always communicating.

Before you fix anything, listen.

Notice your cycle, energy, emotions, symptoms, desires, patterns and your environment.

Observation creates awareness without judgment.

2. DECODE

Your symptoms and cycles have patterns.

Now we get curious.

  • What repeats?

  • When does it happen?

  • What changed?

  • What are you experiencing physically? Emotionally? Energetically? Psychologically?

  • What beliefs might be influencing your choices?

We’re not looking for a single magical explanation.

We’re looking for patterns.

3. SUPPORT

Use the right tools at the right time.

This is where the toolbox comes out. I have amassed many over the years because I didn’t want there to be any informational gaps when I was sitting across the table from clients.

  • Evidence-informed healthcare.

  • Eastern Medicine.

  • Chinese Nutritional Therapy.

  • Movement.

  • Sound.

  • Somatic practices.

  • Coaching.

  • Emotional support.

  • Spiritual practices.

  • Herbalism.

The goal isn’t to use everything.

The goal is to use what is appropriate for you, now.

4. ALIGN

Live with your biology instead of against it.

This is where awareness becomes action. Maybe it looks like changing your schedule.

  • Maybe you set a boundary.

  • Change how you exercise.

  • Prioritize sleep.

  • Stop saying yes automatically (or saying yes when you ACTUALLY mean no)

  • Create more space.

  • Honor your cycle.

  • Change a relationship(s).

  • Change your relationship with yourself.

Alignment is where your outer life begins to reflect your inner truth.

5. TRANSFORM

Health becomes the foundation for purpose, leadership, and legacy.

This is the destination.

  • Not perfect hormones.

  • Not symptom-free living.

  • Not endlessly optimizing yourself.

Radical self-trust.

The truth is when you trust yourself, you make different choices.

You lead, love, work, parent and create differently.

You stop building your life around what everyone else expects of you and eventually, your healing becomes bigger than you.

It becomes what you model, teach, create and leave behind.

That is transformation.

The real problem Cycle Alchemy addresses

If I had to reduce the problem to one word, it would be:

Disconnection.

Disconnection from your body.

Disconnection from your intuition.

Disconnection from your desires.

Disconnection from your rhythms.

Disconnection from your boundaries.

Disconnection from your own authority.

Disconnection from the belief that your body is worthy of listening to in the first place.

We have become incredibly good at outsourcing our knowing.

The app tells us when we’re fertile. The scale tells us whether we’re healthy. The calendar tells us when we should be productive. The expert tells us what our symptoms mean. The algorithm tells us what we should eat. The culture tells us what we should look like, sound like and act like.

Somewhere underneath all of that noise is a woman asking:

“But what about me?”

Cycle Alchemy brings the conversation back home.

Your body isn’t a problem to solve.

This may be the most radical idea in Cycle Alchemy.

You don’t have to hate your symptoms to want them to change. You don’t have to reject medicine to explore energetics. You don’t have to abandon spirituality to care about biology. You don’t have to choose between science and soul. You don’t have to become obsessed with your hormones.

You don’t have to spend the rest of your life “working on yourself” because you are not an “if/then” statement. You are not an organic computer. You are the alchemy of life in motion.

You can learn to live in relationship with yourself.

That is the shift.

From fixing to listening. From outsourcing your authority to radical self-trust.

From fighting your body to compassionate understanding of it. Not merely living in symptom management but shifting into whole-person awareness.

From disconnection to relationship - survival to sovereignty.

This is Cycle Alchemy.

It is not one more modality asking you to add another practice to your already-full life.

It is a framework for understanding the relationship between your body and your becoming.

It gives you a way to ask:

  • What is happening?

  • What does it mean?

  • What support do I need?

  • What needs to change?

  • Who am I becoming because of this?

And perhaps the most important question of all:

What would change if I trusted my body again?

Cycle health isn’t just about having a predictable period. Hormonal health isn’t just about lab values. Healing isn’t just about eliminating symptoms.

The deeper work is rebuilding the relationship between you and the body you live in.

When that relationship changes, your choices change.

Your life changes.

And sometimes, your entire definition of what is possible changes with it.

This is Cycle Alchemy.

Where your body and soul come into right relationship—and healing becomes transformation.

Fierce truth. Sacred science. Feminine freedom.
